Ripe bananas
Fun fact: monkeys rarely eat bananas, and when they do is considered more of a treat. Who knew?!
Butter
Worked into the batter so the crumb stays soft.
Eggs
They hold it together.

White sugar in the batter, a little brown sugar for the top.
Flour
Plain all-purpose flour.
Baking soda
So the loaf rises.

A pinch, so it doesn't taste flat.

I'm Allison.
We live in Georgetown. I bake banana bread in our kitchen, and I leave it on the porch. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. That's the rhythm.
People kept asking for a loaf, so this is The Banana Bread Stand. One recipe. No shop counter, no other flavors. If you want some, tell me how many and pay on Venmo. I'll have them out by 4.
The pictures are just me, when I'm not in the kitchen. Usually there's a baby involved. The bread is the part you came for.
